Description
 
The outcomes of the qualification will enable the student to: • perform tasks where the choice between a limited range of options is required between different materials • demonstrate skills and problem solving techniques where the range of skills and solutions is clearly defined, eg select appropriate signage tools and equipment for use • demonstrate basic operational knowledge in a moderate range of areas particularly trade-specific skills, eg sign layout, computer generated signage, quality control, surface preparation and vinyl application, • collect, interpret and record information from varied sources, eg plans and specifications • take limited responsibility for his or her own productivity in work and learning, eg the ability to complete tasks within a given time frame.
